Winner of The Industry prize Skaraborg

Ever since it was founded in 1990, Offecct has been working consciously with sustainable growth. Today, in 2017, sustainability is a feature of its entire operations to an even greater extent. Offecct designs, develops and produces design furniture and has its head office, development and production located in Tibro in Västra Götaland. The company has approximately 20,000 m²of production area, which includes its subsidiary Facctory AB (which specialises in customised solutions for individual customers).

The jury’s motivation praised Offecct’s circular economy business model and its work to reduce material consumption and to reuse components and products. The prize is awarded to a production company in the Skaraborg region that has grown and progressed through systematic actions carried out with strong commitment which have developed the company and strengthened its competitiveness.

“Sustainability in industrial production today is a matter of course. For us, it is a key aspect of everything we do – from the initial design brief to our designers designing the product and its final delivery. And because we have our manufacturing arm right here with us in Tibro, we can control the entire process and challenge ourselves through continuous improvement, says Maria Ragnarsson, Sustainability manager, Operations and Management.”
