The environment in health facilities is most often associated with functionality. However, research today shows that poor interior design can have negative health effects and that by producing a more beautiful interior it affects patients as well as staff in a positive way.

Furthermore, a thought-through interior also allows easier and more efficient marketing towards prospective patients. Yet another advantage of placing design furniture in such environments is of course the sustainability of the products; good design and materials lasts longer.

Offecct has recently seen its furniture being introduced into a number of projects within the healthcare environment throughout Europe. One of these is the St Gallen public hospital in Switzerland. The interior architects of the hospital chose products from the Bond series; chairs, easy chairs and tables, to improve the interiors of the hospital.
Important considerations by the architects were questions of quality and fire safety, and the Bond products correspond well with the demands and have proven to be excellent for the purpose.
