NCC Head Office

NCC's new headquarters in Järva Krog is part of the construction company's identity shift for the future.

NCC’s head office with space for 800 employees makes up just under 17,000 square meters of the area in the K12 office project. In the development of the new head office, NCC has had a focus on creating an efficient work environment that is adapted to a project-based, digital way of working across both organizational, regional and national borders. Health and a sustainable working environment are also in the spotlight.

– The entrance level is open to the public and has a visual connection up to the house with openings on the floor and rooms with double ceiling height. Two atriums, designed in solid wood, extend through the house. The first atrium is generous and airy with a sculptural staircase that generates movement and spontaneous encounters. The second atrium is more intimate with smaller meeting places and relax areas, says Pi Ekblom, architect White.

Reform, part of Reflex Arkitekter, is an interior designer in NCC’s new office. The interior should, among other things, facilitate teamwork and meet the need for focused work. It is created, for example, through many common areas, project studios, and an inspiring and varied work environment.
