Formfjord
The duo takes advantage of their different backgrounds and perspectives to enhance the creative process and develop products that functions well – technologically and ecologically, ergonomically and emotionally, strategically and economically.
Formfjord is a design duo consisting of Fabian Baumann and Sönke Hoof. Fabian Baumann has studied Mechanical Engineering at TU-Berlin and Industrial Design Engineering at TU-Delft. Sönke Hoof has studied Industrial Design at Kunsthochschule Weissensee Berlin after his apprenticeship as upholsterer.
The duo takes advantage of these different backgrounds and perspectives to enhance the creative process and develop products that functions well – technologically and ecologically, ergonomically and emotionally, strategically and economically. Formfjord was founded in 2006 and work with design and development of products for all areas of everyday life.
Formfjord’s previous clients include, among others, Audi, Light Years, Stelton, Memo, trendform, and Rösle.
