743.250 m2 of rainforest saved

2017-06-15

The Swedish non-profit environmental organization Children’s Rainforest was founded in 1987 by a group of school children. The children had realized what the rain forest means to our planet and were determined to do something to save it from extinction. Offecct started up a long-term collaboration with the Children’s Rainforest back in 2008, with the launch of Amazonas table series designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune. Read more about the table and the collaboration here (länk amazonas/barnens regnskog). Until March this year the organization, in collaboration with different organizations around the world, has saved 743.250 square meters of rainforest, and still counting!
